Artist Bio
Using cultural conflicts that are revealed in the definition of collective and individual identity as both process and material, my methods of making serve as a way of creating place, community, collective voice and individual memory. My site-specific interventions aesthetically respond to the social, political and cultural history of their sites, gathering materials, people, actions, objects, information, and geography to reconstruct "the landscape" generated by its inherent conflicts, questioning the strategies of power imposed upon them.
