Sachigusa Yasuda, born in Tokyo, Japan, living and working in New York. Yasuda has been developing a constructed landscape that opens up a critical view of the reality. Since 2013, she has been participating in the “Hama-dori, Naka-dori & Aizu Tri-Regional Culture Collaboration Project,” the exhibition held at Fukushima Museum and supported by The Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan. Yasuda has been exhibiting globally at the California Museum of Photography, The Harold B. Lemmerman Gallery, Art Chicago, International Studio & Curatorial Program, Exit Art, 21_21 Design Sight (Japan), Sezon Museum of Modern Art (Japan), The National Art Center (Japan), Fukushima Museum (Japan) etc. Her work has been included in publications such as Art in America, Camera Austria, Kult Magazine Italy, Art in Asia, DAMN° Magazine, Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, The Huffington Post, The Japan Times, The Asahi Shimbun, Mainichi Newspapers and many others.
