Acrylic on canvas
Part of the "Pop Torture" series. Growing up in New York City, I was exposed to the urban colors and imagery of the city. My surroundings and a fascination with the abstract expressionism movement played a major role in me becoming an artist. Created with palette knives and acrylic markers, bright colors and raw textures are an essential element in the work, resulting in frenetic paintings with energetic abstractions bursting with color.
