Jennifer Mack is a native of Charleston, SC. She holds an undergraduate degree in Studio Arts, a Master's degree in art education, and an MFA in Printmaking from Pratt Institute. She has exhibited in group shows throughout the Southeast, and has many art collectors who enjoy her unique works of art. She recently received "The Elizabeth Catlett Printmaking Award" given by Hampton University Museum. Agnes Scott College has recently acquired one her works to add to the college's permanent collection. Mack's current body of work investigates societal conformities that isolate and confine individuals into pre-defined defined identities. These include the complexities of being a woman, beauty images, relationships, body image, power, and gender roles.
