Brainard Carey is an internationally acclaimed artist -- painter, printmaker, performance artist, book maker, calligrapher, writer. He and his wife (Praxis) were invited to take part in the 2002 Whitney Biennial. He has had commissioned solo shows at the Whitney Museum and international venues like the Reina Sofia in Spain, as well as many others. His work is in numerous private and public collections.
