8.25 X 10.25 inches

Richard Bram’s first book of color photographs chronicles ten years of walking the streets of New York City, from 2005 to 2015. Long known for his black-and-white street work, “RICHARD BRAM NEW YORK” reflects his deliberate decision to explore the streets of New York in color. Here you will not find tourist sights but rather the nervous, neurotic sidewalks of the city where he resided from 2008 through 2016.

This is a limited edition of 100 signed and numbered books bound in blue, and accompanied by a signed and numbered 8” x 10” C-print of the cover image.

For over 35 years, renowned photographer Richard Bram has been prowling the streets of the world looking for the special moments of everyday life. He has worked on major public events and intimate private moments, always with an eye for that significant gesture to animate his photographs. Born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1952, Bram dedicated himself to photography in 1984. He is a founding member of in-public, now UP Photographers, the first international street photography collective. Three books of his work have been published, "Richard Bram: Street Photography" (2006), "Richard Bram: NEW YORK”"(2016), and "Short Stories”"(2020)
