Dying of Thirst  2016

Analog collage

15.5" x 19.5" framed

This piece aims to illustrate the hypocrisy of resource extraction. We poison and destroy our most precious resources with the intent of securing a future for ourselves, yet by damaging these resources, we are doing the opposite. The child in this piece welcomes a drop of suspiciously-colored chemical solution, while standing in a dam. This piece is intended to remind us of these devastating contradictions.

Minimum Bid: $100
Est. Value: $400
