While traveling to a small village on Inle Lake in Burma to make a portrait of a doctor who runs a medical clinic I stopped to photograph a fisherman who was quietly and meditatively doing his job.
Chris Bartlett is a documentary human rights portrait photographer. His projects have included military rape survivors, portraits of Iraqi former detainees, and Burmese dissidents and former political prisoners. Chris is also a commercial still life photographer in New York City working primarily in the fashion, jewelry, and luxury goods industries.
