Black Woman and Child, 2010

Silver Gelatin Print.

11 x 14"

“Woman and Child” is an image I captured in Lagos Nigeria on one of my trips back home. It speaks to the relationship between a Mother and her child, their connection, their bond; the earth, the roots, the stems that nurtured and fed this fruit, her child, her mirror, her world made in her.
