British Artist Martin Creed's circling "Understanding" sculpture is seen in Brooklyn Bridge Park on September 11, 2016, on the same night that the Tribute In Lights - the two blue beams memorializing those who died in the Twin Tower attacks, and a reminder of the buildings themselves, and the former New York skyline - is projected into the sky. The Creed work was a temporary installation and so the conversation between these two works of art happened only on that one evening, September 11, 2016.

Nina Berman is a photographer, filmmaker, author and educator as well as a member of NOOR images and a Professor at Columbia University. Her work is widely exhibited and in both public and private collections.
