Wolf Den Chenin Blanc 2019, Rascal Pinot Noir 2019, adorable dog ornament made from corks, poppy wine bottle stopper by Charles Viancin, and I cook with wine, sometimes i even add it to the food towels. The Den Chenin Blanc is a wine that has a bright aroma and flavor. Soft, peach, lemon and guava with an underlying savory minerality and a whisper of wood. This wine has a great texture and a layered finish with brightly acidity keeping it fresh and vibrant. The Rascal Pinot Noir 2019 comes from the Great Oregon Wine Company. This fruit driven Pinot Noir shows beautiful dark cherry and on the nose. The medium body reveals flavors of juicy red fruit, earth, and spice against a backdrop of oak. On the palate the fruit flavors echo the nose with dark red cherry and ripe raspberry. The fruit flavors are bold up front, then take a secondary role to the earth, spice, and floral tones. The tannin's are well integrated and a streak of acidity finishes clean.
